Dear LLAD Community,

It is with a heavy heart that we are temporarily closing our doors. While Language of Life - Art & Dance, Inc. has barely begun its journey, and we are so incredibly thankful to all of our students, we will be temporarily closing our doors while we care for our mom who has high-risk, stage 3 multiple myeloma.

While our operations have been suspended, our bills have not. If you (or anyone you know) are willing and able to help support our nonprofit during this difficult time, we’d be eternally grateful. (link in bio)

We will continue to update our website and IG as much as we can while we navigate through this extremely difficult time. Please keep us in your thoughts, and please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions. Response time might be slow, but we are doing the best we can.

1:1 Private Lesson - monthly tuition
Lessons occur weekly & each payment will be for the number of lessons in that month.

$20 per class.

Sibling Lessons - hour long class
$25 per student.

**Annual registration fee is non-refundable & due at the time of registration. The fee is $50 per student.

Language of Life - Art & Dance, Inc. has created an educational performing arts ecosystem that brings awareness to contemporary issues & brings communities together through the power of the performing & visual arts.⁣
Our lessons are unique as they teach various dance genres, but they are full of historical anecdotes! It is crucial to understand where dance came from, how it came to be, and what other art forms had/have an influence on it. We help instill these concepts in a respectful & positive learning environment so that each dancer is well-rounded and can apply these concepts to their daily lives.

We have a lot planned to ensure that LLAD will continue to enrich our community, such as our scholarship program or collaborations with contemporary artists, but we need your help! Please donate (any donation size is greatly appreciated) on our website & help us grow! Thank you!

EXPERIENCE THE POWER OF STORY TELLING!⁣
CHOREOGRAPHY is the art or practice of designing sequences of movements of physical bodies in which motion or form or both are specified. Choreography may also refer to the design itself. A choreographer is one who creates choreographies by practicing the art of choreography, a process known as choreographing.

ICONOGRAPHY, as a branch of art history, studies the identification, description and interpretation of the content of images: the subjects depicted, the particular compositions and details used to do so, and other elements that are distinct from artistic style.

At LLAD, we are excited and eager to share with you how both iconography and choreography can be sued to tell the same story!
