Intentional Shift Saturday FREE 1pm + 3pm at the Hunters Point Shoreline

During this interactive, site-specific performance we invite audiences to explore how communities inhabit space, how space influences bodies, how design can bring communities together, and how history is held in individual and collective bodies.

OBSERVE as feels best to you. Notice the scenery, sounds, movement, interactions, and the sharing of this performance together.

PARTICIPATE through movement, interaction, or writing. It is your choice of how you want to interact within the performance.

REFLECT how YOU become a part of this performance. However you choose to engage, your role brings the performance into activation.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY! COASTAL CLEANUP DAY 2022
Saturday, September 17th
9am - 12pm
Point Shoreline - India Basin Park Entrance

THIS SATURDAY! Volunteer with us for the 38th Annual California Coastal Cleanup! The cleanup brings awareness to the marine litter problem and provides a community event for direct involvement in caring for our parks and coasts.

Bring your gloves, water, sunscreen, friends and family, and be ready for a beautiful day on the Bayview-Hunters Point Shoreline. Tasks available will include: shoreline trash + recycle pickup, path sweeping + weeding, and light pruning. Pickers, bags, and disposable gloves will be provided.

Join the movement for an environment where people and ecosystems can survive and thrive!

Dear NOW Hunters Point community,

We are sad to share that Pacific Gas and Electric (PG&E) is suspending the NOW Hunters Point program while they assess whether programming should continue on the site.

It is unclear whether the program will resume.

This means that our Circus Day event, which took place on Sunday, October 3rd, will be the last NOW Hunters Point event for the foreseeable future. However, we’re happy to share that regular COVID testing, provided by SFPDH and Color, will continue through the end of the year on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. In our eight years operating NOW Hunters Point, we have been honored to host over 30,000 of you on site. We are eternally grateful to all of you, especially the Bayview-Hunters Point community, for joining us at so many events, sharing your thoughts on the past, present, and future of this neighborhood, and for creating so much joy through your presence on the site. We are also grateful to our incredible roster of partners for their passion, commitment, and generosity in allowing us to work with them to support and uplift the community. And we commend PG&E for creating this opportunity for the community to come together and start to imagine what this site could become.

As PG&E considers the future of interim programming here, we would love to share your stories and experiences at NOW Hunters Point. The Circus is BACK! We are so excited to work with Bayview Opera House to bring Circus Bella back to the NOW Hunters Point site for the first time since 2019! Come out on Sunday, October 3rd at 1pm to be witness this year’s entirely new show. All the details can be found on the flyer. We’ll see you out there!!

Next Saturday, August 7th we are hosting our third SKATE AND GROOVE! Come on out to 155 Jennings Street from 11am - 2pm and take advantage of some FREE SKATE RENTALS and a wide open space! See you then!

COVID testing at NOW hunters point has been extended throughout July! Come by between 10am-3pm every Friday for a quick and easy test. Important to keep getting tested even as the city starts opening up!

This Saturday come out to 155 Jennings Street between 11am - 2pm and ROLLER SKATE with us! Free skate rentals provided and music will be bumping. Swipe right for the info on a flyer. See you then!

We are BACK with some joyful programming on Saturday, June 5th! Come on out to our site between 11-2 and spend some time roller skating in the sun. Bring your own skates or rent some for free from the Church of 8 Wheels. We are so excited to see you all and have some fun together!

Tomorrow at 1PM, we are back on site with our FAMILY FOOD GIVEAWAY! Come through 155 Jennings Street and walk away with a free bag of groceries, no pre registration required. New time - we’ll start handing out the food at 1pm!! See you then!
