We know building a creative practice can sometimes feel like you’re trying to do it all at once: make meaningful work, build relationships, find opportunities, and then there’s the business side of pricing your work, creating systems, planning for growth, and figuring out how to make it all sustainable.
You know your art has value. The question is: how do you build the structure to support it?
If you’re ready to move from guessing to building, we hope you’ll join us for Art of Hustle: Business Basics for the Working Artist, a cohort workshop series designed to help artists develop the tools, confidence, and community needed to lead their creative practice like the business it already is.
Through practical frameworks, hands-on exercises, and peer collaboration, you’ll:
• Clarify your business model
• Get to know your audience
• Develop a pricing strategy
• Create a roadmap for long-term growth
The program is led by Anthem Salgado, founder of Art of Hustle. Anthem began his career as a multidisciplinary artist before founding and running a consultancy for nearly 15 years, supporting hundreds of creative entrepreneurs and providing seminars for organizations including Brooklyn Museum, Center for Cultural Power, Center for Cultural Innovation, Theatre Communications Group, and more.
This series is designed for early-career artists at any life stage, working in any medium, who want to strengthen the business side of their practice. No prior business experience is required.
