Q***r as F*** is seeking short play and sketch comedy submissions for our 10th Anniversary Show. We are a collective of interdisciplinary artists dedicated to cultivating stories that explore the constructs of both the political and personal aspects of Q***r resistance.
To celebrate ten years of love, community, and irreverence, this year’s show seeks to honor the q***r legacy of revolution and rebirth. From q***r ancestors to q***r futurism, we are calling out for stories about q***r ingenuity, intergenerational healing, and unapologetic reinvention.
Submission Guidelines:
* We welcome contributions from writers of all backgrounds, particularly encouraging submissions from BIPOC LGBTQ+ writers.
* Please include a character list, brief bio and contact information with your submission.
* Submissions should be no longer than 10 pages for short plays, and 5 pages for sketch comedy (character list, bio, etc not included in page limit).
* Submissions must be uploaded by Monday, April 13, 2025 at 11:59 pm PT.
* Each writer is limited to 3 submissions (including collaborative pieces).
* To center human authorship, QAF does not accept submissions that include AI-generated elements, including but not limited to plot, characters, dialogue, or music.
