Remembering the one and only Tim Curry; actor, singer, composer.
(1946-2026)

Tim Curry broke through in 1975 as Dr. Frank N. Furter in The Rocky Horror Picture Show, turning a poorly reviewed film into a lasting cult classic. He went on to perform roles in Clue, Legend, IT, and Muppet Treasure Island, and decades of animated work. Despite a stroke in 2012, he kept performing and appearing at fan events in the years that followed.

At 13 years old, he reached the top with his album Little Stevie Wonder: The 12 Year Old Genius and the single “Fingertips (Pt. 2),” marking the first time a live recording achieved a number-one hit in the United States.

Rothchild and sound engineer Bruce Botnick, the band completed the entire record in under two weeks, capturing signature tracks like “Break On Through (To the Other Side)” and “Light My Fire.”

On August 22, 1979, Led Zeppelin released their eighth studio album, In Through the Out Door, in the United States. Recorded in late 1978 at Polar Studios in Stockholm, Sweden, it was the band’s final studio album completed prior to the death of drummer John Bonham in 1980.

The session focused on the sequencing of side two of the Abbey Road album and the completion of the master tape, including the track “I Want You (She’s So Heavy)”.

Cash’s daughter Roseanne pushed back publicly, calling the claim “appalling” and “presumptuous,” and writing that even she wouldn’t presume to speak for what her father actually believed.
