Aguas Migrantes Aguas Migrantes is a collective of artists based in the Bay Area. We organize an annual 2 week artist residency in Guanajuato.

An art collective composed of two q***r migrant womyn artist-educators, Susa Cortez and Vreni Michelini Castillo originally from Guanajuato, MX but now based in the Bay Area. The mission of Aguas Migrantes (Migrant Waters) is to connect a diverse group of artists to our home communities through art by exploring and learning about the cultural productions of rural and urban Guanajuato.
