Haunting Me, Haunting You

09/25/2026

Once again learning the lesson that if you don’t rest your body will MAKE YOU by FORCE.
The perk of a little bed bound is catching up on TV and decided to do a lil Rick & Morty rewatch to be up to speed for season 9… and naturally the brain likes to do silly things with a binge and Tim is very much on my mind.
I’ll always have a soft spot for the series because aside from being some p fun sci-fi, when my lungs collapsed in 2013 it was the same week the series premiered. When I was recovering in ICU the Snowball episode aired and I thought I was having thee best hallucination from hospital drugs. Six months later I’m chatting with someone at a bar and they ask me if I’ve seen the tv show with the old man scientist and his grandson and lo! I come to find it was not a fever dream brought on by enough steroids and painkillers to take down a bull but in fact a real cartoon. I went home and immediately binged season 1… and thirteen years later I’m watching season 9 making RHPS x R&M doodles. What a time!
