A new season begins this month at the Presidio Theatre!
We’re kicking off our 2026/27 season with two weekends of extraordinary dance.

September 12 & 13, NYC’s iconic Parsons Dance Company takes the stage with works new to Bay Area audiences.

Then, on September 20, the Bay Area’s Chitresh Das Dance Company brings classical Indian dance to the Presidio Theatre, featuring choreographer Charlotte Moraga’s Invoking the River.

Two companies. Two distinct perspectives on dance. One incredible start to our new season.

Please join us in welcoming Adam Maggio, the Presidio Theatre’s new Executive Director!

A native San Franciscan and longtime member of the Bay Area arts community, Adam brings extensive experience as an arts leader, producer, actor, and director.

“All of us are excited to welcome Adam Maggio as our new Executive Director,” says Peggy Haas, Presidio Theatre founder and Board Chair. “It is a plus that he is a lifelong member of the San Francisco arts scene and will handily help steer us into a bright future.”

Adam officially joins us October 1, just as we kick off an exciting new season and chapter at the Presidio Theatre.
