We are still pinching ourselves (and coughing the dust out of our lungs) from the absolute dream that was Outside Lands last weekend! This BTS video is just the tip of the iceberg of what was truly *the* experience of a lifetime and one of the most exciting opportunities we’ve had as a chorus. Thank you to everyone who showed up and showed out for us on Sunday as we opened the festival on the main stage!

Tech rehearsal for Outside Lands was Simply The Best. ❤️ We Cut right to The Feeling and sounded like We Belong on that stage! Now we’re just Living On A Prayer that we don’t feel the rain on our skin outside tomorrow, but we promise to give you a performance you’ll remember for Centuries.

We are ONE WEEK AWAY from the deadline for our 5th Annual Holiday Composition Competition! ❄️

This is your chance to have your music performed by the San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus at our 2026 holiday concerts across the Bay Area. The winner receives a $2,000 prize, a trip to San Francisco for the world premiere, and a professional audio/video recording of the performance.

We are officially 10 days away from the deadline for our fifth annual holiday composition competition! We are accepting applications from all composers anywhere in the United States. The winning composer receives a $2,000 cash prize, travel expenses for the world premiere in San Francisco, and a professional recording of the performance. With no entry fee and all composers welcome, this competition fosters creativity and supports emerging and established talent within the choral music world.

The Chorus looks forward to premiering the winner of this year’s competition at venues in San Francisco, Berkeley, and Sonoma. For more information on how to apply head to sfgmc.org
