I am always looking to challenge myself and I have recently fallen in love with fashion photography and all summer I have been working with various models to update my portfolio. I love my monthly subscription of Vogue and have always been drawn to fantasy, avant-garde, surreal and highly imaginative photo projects. When I shoot a portrait I have already had a conversation with my subject and then I am capturing their mood in that one moment. I find the interaction I have with my subject has a lot to do with how they appear in the final image.

Balancing numbers and moments at home 🪴

I had the pleasure of taking my friend’s portraits for their new accounting business, and wanted to share some of my favorites. Shooting in their home was both fun and challenging as I wanted to capture their personalities from their workstations as well as their professional life together.
Figuring out how to work inside rather than out in public on the street had me thinking about angles and how to balance the light from inside and out, and I’m happy with the final images 😊

I’ve been chasing flowers all year and just wanted to share that sunflowers are now in bloom in the Winters/Woodland area in Yolo County. Gorgeous colors and a sight to see I highly recommend a trip out there at golden hour to get the best portraits.
