Its totally weird, like taking all your clothes off and having s*x with someone you barely know and then being like “What’s up now?” You know? Like it’s such an intense experience, but then no one knows what to fu***ng say, even though nothing really bad actually happened You know?

But I really like you…I don’t agree with most of your opinions…

But I don’t meet a lot of people who can actually make me think, you know? And who can hold their own in an interesting discussion. And who I’m totally hot for at the same time. You know? It’s a fairly effective combination.

VAHO - “Dennis”


Founder of Lose Face Productions, this is his directorial debut. His credits include In Good Company directed by Ed Decker, You’ll Catch Flies by Ryan Fogerty, directed by Tom Bruett at NCTC, Danny and The Deep Blue Sea by John Patrick Shanley, directed by Michael Grais (Poltergeist, 1984), Steve by Mark Gerrard, directed by Becca Wolfe at NCTC, and Dance Nation at SF Playhouse, also directed by Becca Wolfe, as an understudy. Trained by Rachael Adler at the Waterfront Playhouse and Robert Carnegie at Playhouse West. Shout-out to my wife, my mom, my mother-in-law, my friends and all of you beautiful people coming to the show!

MEET THE ACTOR

AARON ROYCE JONES - "Warren"


A Berkeley-based actor and filmmaker. He attended UC Santa Cruz, played on the NCAA men’s soccer team, and graduated with a B.A. in Creative Writing. In 2014, he moved to Finland and played professionally for two years until an injury (and a lack of sunshine) brought him home to California. While working on a film set, he realized his true passion existed in front of the camera. He went on to study voice and movement with the YAT/Bentley Center for Performance and the Meisner Technique with Rachel Adler. In 2019, he made his theater debut in Contra Costa Civic Theatre's production of All The Way and since then, he has been busy writing, directing, and/or acting in various projects, including acting in a Netflix feature film. After almost two years of Zoom readings, Aaron is thrilled to return to the theater and bring Warren to life with his dear friends and talented collaborators, Vaho and Sophie.

MEET THE ACTOR

SOPHIE BECKER - "Jessica"

An actress and film editor from the San Francisco Bay Area. Her on-camera credits include Netflix’s Unsolved Mysteries and ‘The Bigger Picture - Survival Pending Revolution’– a visual poetry series developed by Youth Speaks in collaboration with UCSF. On stage she has appeared in Caryl Churchill’s Love and Information and as Charlotte Corday in Peter Weiss’s Marat/Sade. She is represented by Cast Images Model & Talent Agency and is a recipient of CA$H, a grants program of Theatre Bay Area.

Sophie’s film editing work spans from documentary to dance film, including collaborations with renowned street dance content creators YakFilms, Destiny Arts Center, and Democratic Socialists of America. Her film and photography have been featured in the New York Times, the San Francisco Tiny Dance Film Festival, Al-Tiba9, and in galleries locally and abroad.
