Hi DancEsteem's families!

We hope you had a wonderful Easter Weekend 🐣

We are excited to have DancEsteem's Creative Show this Sunday April 23rd at Balboa High School Auditorium.

Here are a few reminders ...
Performers include all kinder and above Modern/Contemporary classes with Takami & Yuko. Hip Hop, Ballet & Pre-K classes do not perform in this show.
Your dancer should arrive with all items labeled - especially shoes (jazz shoes, ballet shoes, toe pads, & street shoes) & sweatshirts/jackets.
Have your dancer keep all items in their own bag, which should also be labeled.
Do not send with water bottles! We will have a jug backstage with compostable paper cups -- kids' bottles inevitably get left/lost.
Send with healthy snacks and lunch for dancers arriving early for rehearsal.
Remember: rehearsal for the Creative Show is on the same day as the Creative Show. The rehearsal schedule can be accessed here if you do not remember when your dancer should arrive.
CREATIVE SHOW DETAILS
Date: April 23
Location: Balboa High School Auditorium
[1000 Cayuga Ave at Onondaga, entrance to auditorium on Onondaga street]

Doors open at 3:30
Performance 4:00
$5 suggested donation at the door to help pay for the use of the auditorium.

* There will be a bake sale in the lobby to support the MoBu Dance Studio's DancEsteem 2017 Japan Cultural Dance Exchange! (Note: Bake Sale is cash only)

Note: For all classes in grades kinder and above who take Modern & Contemporary classes with Takami & Yuko -- pre-k classes & students taking only Hip Hop with Stephanie or Ballet with Marisa do not perform in this show because Creative Method is practiced only in Modern/Contemporary classes.

Creative Show Date: Sunday April 23
Time: 4:00 pm
Rehearsals: between 10 am - 3 pm on April 23, your child's specific rehearsal time depends on the schedule, to be released a month prior.

* We will announce which solo dancers perform in which performance early March, along with the tech rehearsal schedule.
* Families of dancers performing in shows on both days do not need to go to both shows. You can choose which show you want to attend and on the other day's performance your dancer can be dropped off at the theater at the specified arrival time.

Thursday May 4 & Friday May 5. (After-school on both days). Saturday May 6. 9:30 - 2:30 pm. Sunday 10:00 - 2:00 pm
