Happy World Piano Day! 🎹 Last week I was trying out this wild King Louis 9’ Steinway from the late 1800s over at Piedmont Piano Company. Still in amazing shape. It costs, well, shall we say, several hundred thousand dollars! 😅 would it fit in in your home?

Here's a new old recording for you friends! 😎 Brahms Intermezzo in A Major. Op. 118 No. 2. Recorded when I was 21 years old in the Utah State music building at 3 in the morning:

Emerson Urry plays the Intermezzo Op. 118 No. 2 in A Major by Johannes Brahms. Recorded in 1997 in Room 220 at Utah State University, 3 am. :)

Sneak peak: Watching the news, in the cold on the rattletrap grand (top keys don't work, missing key tops, broken strings etc). Practicing on this piano is like training for the Olympics with ankle weights on! 🤣 I have four sonatas nearly ready to record by Domenico Scarlatti. If I can find a piano, you might hear them done properly before the holidays! Stay tuned.
