Suspended Protocol, 2026, Mixed Media

Exploring a state that feels both free and constrained, in motion, yet unable to fully arrive.

Fragments of digital space are brought into a physical environment, where they hover, shift, and remain in between.

It was a part of the group show “Lick Dirt, Kiss Bone” curated by
Thank you so much for the opportunity and support and thanks to everyone who came to the show!💙

Another Afternoon, 2025, 36 × 36”, Acrylic on canvas

Sharing this work from my series Everyday Elsewhere while missing my time at home in the Bay Area with my sweeties.

Ironically, the moments that feel the most peaceful and stable can sometimes become the ones we grow bored of, but what once felt mundane and repetitive becomes what we miss the most — just like I do now.
(Miss them so much!! And the weather…🥹)

On view at , Chelsea
until April 11.

Botanical Pause,2025,30 x40”, Acrylic on Canvas

2025 is heading toward the end, and I’m sharing a part of my ongoing painting series, Everyday Elsewhere, which I worked on back in April.
Always floating somewhere in between, wanting to pause even while longing to explore what feels exciting.

Before it gets too late, I’m uploading last week’s lecture at CCA. I gave a short talk for the Illustration major students about poster illustration and how I use color and texture in my work. It meant a lot to share my experience as an illustrator with young students, from digital illustration to painting.

Thanks again, .i.n.a.k.i.m for inviting me to your class, and thanks to all the students for listening and asking great questions!

The opening was fun, and I had some meaningful conversations during the private showing. As always, meeting inspiring people and sharing thoughts about each other’s work makes me excited. Feeling grateful for the opportunities and experience!

Breathing Fragments, 2025

Project for Moments of Living in Haste, artist residency

It was a meaningful experience to complete this series in a short time, embracing more spontaneity throughout the process and installation.

Collected from an abandoned hospital, broken stones, wall fragments, fallen leaves, and small mushrooms quietly growing through the cracks, I create mobiles that hover between stillness and motion, where fragility meets vibrancy, and decay transforms into vitality.

Grateful for the time at A Space, which offered a chance to experiment and grow through new experiences.
