What a finale to our 2025-26 season! The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain brought their unique mix of zaniness and musicianship to the Herbst, just in time for much-needed laughs and, as always, amazing performances. Versatile Bay Area-based mezzo-soprano Nikola Printz, acclaimed for performances that are “heartrending, musically resplendent…and thrillingly fierce” (San Francisco Chronicle), makes their San Francisco Performances debut in this concert with pianist Terrence Wilson, “one of the biggest pianistic talents to have emerged in this country in the last 25 years” (Baltimore Sun), and SFP veterans the Catalyst Quartet, who perform “with the clarity and vigor of a great ensemble” (San Francisco Chronicle).
