Theater MadCap is proud to announce that we have been awarded the Theater Bay Area CA$H grant for the Fall of 2016!
Some of you may remember my enthusiasm around writing a brand new love story and assembling a team of diverse writers for a monthly writing workshop to develop the play. I took the initiative to apply for the TBA grant to cover the cost and what do ya know, I got it!
Theater MadCap launches its new writing workshop in January of 2017 in order to develop its next play, San Francisco: A Protest Love Story. In this unique model, Theater MadCap will host a 6-month, bi-monthly writing workshop in the Mission, hosting a diverse group of writers who will meet twice a month to help develop the piece.
If you are interested in being a part of this unique play development model, please contact me at [email protected].
