This past weekend, we wrapped production on our EIGHTH original trailer for SLASHED, opening this October at Terror Vault, and we’re feeling incredibly grateful.

One of the things we’re most proud of is that your support allows us to employ an amazing community of artists, filmmakers, performers, technicians, designers, and craftspeople throughout the year. What started as a haunted attraction has evolved into a creative playground where talented people get to make weird, ambitious, cinematic art together. Every year we challenge ourselves to dream bigger, build larger, and tell more immersive stories, and none of it would be possible without the audiences who continue to show up and support what we do.

And speaking of talented people... our Terror Vault film crew, affectionately known as The Little Daddies, absolutely KILLED IT. (Pun very much intended.) Over two long days, this incredible team transformed our latest nightmare into something that already feels bigger, bloodier, and more cinematic than ever. The level of creativity, craftsmanship, collaboration, and passion they brought to this production was extraordinary, and we cannot wait to share the results with you.

Is TERROR VAUL actually haunted?!? Our own Peaches Christ (well, Joshua really) was THRILLED to join our brilliant friend, the very transgender ghost-huntress stand-up comedienne Roz Hernandez for an episode of her fabulous show The Haunted Doll while she was in San Francisco hunting ghosts and showing off her bodacious watermelon-type jugs. Naturally, we had to bring her deep behind-the-scenes of Terror Vault at the historic San Francisco Mint to investigate one very important question: is The Mint actually haunted? Housing for Horror? Are you the light in the dark we’re looking for… with a spare room in San Francisco? We’re putting out a call to our community for a little behind-the-scenes support. Terror Vault is hoping to bring back a returning artist we truly value, someone originally from San Francisco who was pushed out by the city’s rising costs. We’d love to hire him again this year, but as you know, housing here has become prohibitive, and we’re trying to make sure the bulk of what we pay him goes toward his work, not just a place to sleep.

We’re exploring two possibilities:
• A short-term room rental
• Or a potential hotel sponsorship / partnership

Timing-wise, we’re currently looking at:
• The first two weeks of June
• And again in September / October

He’s quiet, clean, respectful, q***r, and will be out most days working at Terror Vault. If you or someone you know might be able to help, I’d really appreciate hearing from you directly:

Our own Penny PoundCake is taking the stage this Sunday for Pennies for Panama, a burlesque cabaret fundraiser to help send her to the Panama Burlesque Fest, and we’re rooting for her all the way.

Penny is one of the very talented set decorators behind the scenes at Terror Vault, helping bring our haunted worlds to life, so we’re thrilled to cheer her on as she heads toward her first international burlesque festival.

If you’re in the East Bay, head to The Ivy Room on Sunday, March 15 for a night of burlesque, drag, circus, belly dance, music, and more, all supporting Penny’s trip.

Terror Vault’s 2026 show has a name.

Introducing SLASHED: Return to Hellville, the brutal new immersive horror experience from Terror Vault at the historic San Francisco Mint. Inspired by the outrageous slasher films of the 1980s, guests step into the investigation of the infamous Shellville murders after true-crime podcaster Petra Sterling disappears while researching the abandoned Fear Clinic.

With only Petra’s clues to guide them, brave volunteers must enter the sealed town of Shellville, confront the supernatural killer Darren Grieves, and stop the nightmare before it spreads.

To celebrate the announcement, we’re launching a Friday the 13th SLASH SALE (yes… slash, not flash).

For today only, enjoy a limited-time sale on Terror Vault merchandise. The deal disappears at midnight tonight, so grab your goodies before the clock strikes 13.
