Marika Brussel is a contemporary b***et choreographer, currently creating internationally across the USA & UK. Her work reshapes narratives through b***et, showing our interconnectedness and equity as humans, bringing b***et into the 21st Century. To learn more about Marika, visit her at marikabrussel.com

Inspired by the significance of the waters surrounding Miami's coastline, Brussel will create 'Salt Water Song,' a contemporary b***et reframing the ancient myth of Calypso and The Sirens. The work will celebrate female power and depth, reflecting Brussel's interest in exploring these narratives from a positive perspective.

ARC Dance is hosting a gathering of professional dance artists from companies such as Les Grands Ballet Canadiens, Ballet Eloelle/Grandiva, Ballet Victoria, Pacific Northwest Ballet, and ARC Dance to performing at the Bagley Wright Theater at Seattle Center. The two-day gala festival performance launches ARC Dance’s 25th anniversary season.

The 2023-24 season continues to elevate the company with formidable and fresh staging, lighting design, costumes, and sought-after choreographers.
