Donations still encouraged!

The San Francisco Free Folk Festival yesterday was great! Since the festival is a free event, we rely on donations to cover our expenses for space rental, chair rental and delivery, program printing, and more.

If you were there and didn't get a chance to donate, or if you want to donate again, or if you weren't there but still want to help out, go to https://sffolkfest.org/donate to donate in any way (debit/credit card, PayPal or check).

The festival's parent organization, the San Francisco Folk Music Club, is a non-profit corporation (501(c)(3)), federal tax ID 94-3281922. Donations are tax deductible to the extent permitted by law.

Donate The San Francisco Free Folk Festival is 100% volunteer-run — none of the organizers, performers or workshop leaders get paid. But as with all large events, we have major costs, including building or space rental, insurance and other expenses. We rely on donations to help cover these costs. ...

The 2026 San Francisco Free Folk Festival (our 50th annual festival!) will be on Saturday July 11. We will be returning to our current location in the bandshell area of Golden Gate Park.

We're still accepting proposals for workshops and performances at https://forms.gle/8sZTSpWiHhsg8B3BA , but the deadline is tomorrow (Thursday March 19)!
