Progress report: I’m 80 pages in and over 8k of words with the upcoming tuplet drum book!!! And I still have another section of the book to start. Yikes! We’re going deep into the rhythmic abyss with this one. And now I must go back to worshipping at the Temple of Tuplet and pray that my editor won’t quit on me!

Yamaha has entered the chat. I swapped out my vintage ludwigs for my Yamaha Recording Customs, but only using the kick and floor tom (and a Yamaha Musashi 13” snare because it’s the most crackin’ kraken that ever crakt). Instead of any rack toms I’ve got a hihat, a mini hihat, a remote hihat, a clap stack, and a left side low-pitched snare. Best damn playground I’ve hung out in in awhile. 5 stars. Will definitely be coming back. Tone Town or bust.
