🚀🎅 CHRISTMAS ON THE MOON!

Here's a wonderfully weird original collage by Winston Smith, created around 1999–2000 and associated with the legendary science-fiction magazine "Amazing Stories."

Santa Claus in outer space? Why not?

Long before Photoshop became the norm, Winston was busy with razor blade, glue, vintage magazines, and a head full of strange ideas. This one brings a little holiday cheer into the far reaches of the cosmos.

We're still researching its exact appearance in print, but the original is available exclusively on our website.

🦇 BAT SHOW 2026: NOCTURNAL EMISSIONS — ARTIST SPOTLIGHT🦇💕

This week, multimedia artist Sui Jenneris gives Winston Smith’s legendary Alternative Tentacles bat a fresh set of wings, adding her own creative mischief to the mix for The Bat Show 2026: Nocturnal Emissions. 🦇

Now in its fourth year, The Bat Show brings together artists from near and far to mutate, reinvent, dismantle, resurrect, and otherwise have their way with Winston’s original bat—a scrappy little icon that’s been lurking around punk rock for more than four decades.

Sui is a multimedia artist working primarily in visual art, with a focus on works on paper and a recent shift into video art. Raised in Kingston, New York, she continues to live and create there, exploring storytelling through tactile and digital forms.

Sui's bat is staying in the shadows a little longer, but swipe through for a taste of his raw, graphic, punk-infused work.

Stay tuned—we’ll be unleashing a new Bat Show artist every week leading up to the show.

NEW IN THE SHOP!

The Atomic Scream (1977) — Metal Print

A little Cold War anxiety, courtesy of Winston Smith!

Originally created in 1977, "The Atomic Scream" puts a nuclear twist on Edvard Munch's famous "The Scream," replacing the distant landscape with a mushroom cloud. The image later appeared on the back cover of the Dead Kennedys' 1980 single "Kill the Poor."

This unusual metal print was produced as an experiment when printing artwork on metal first became widely available. A curious piece of Studio Fallout history, featuring one of Winston's earliest anti-nuclear images.

Political Collection Box Sets (2026) ✂️

From the Reagan era to the Trump regime, Winston Smith chronicles the unraveling of the American Dream, one collage at a time.

Each box is a grab bag of 10 period photocopies of Winston’s artwork, mostly collages from the 1970s and ’80s.

Each individual piece is signed and comes in an acid-free document sleeve with backing board.

Nearly 50 years later, the artwork still hits close to home. Different decade, same old song and dance.
