All Pro Wrestling is extremely saddened to learn about the passing of alumni, APW head trainer, Dana Nishibe professionally known as Dana Lee.

Dana’s professional wrestling journey began in the infamous APW Garage in Hayward, CA where he learned his trade under the tutelage of the great Robert Thompson and Bryan Danielson. Debuting in 2002, Dana had many memorable moments in All Pro Wrestling including being one of the few to hold the APW Universal, Internet and Tag Team Championships. As a coach, Dana trained many of the next generation of APW alumni, including Jeckles, Matt Carlos, Jody Kristofferson and Sparkey Ballard. In 2011, Dana stepped away from the ring to enlist in the US Army after which serving as a medic at events in the Bay Area.

Dana, Karaoke, Asian Sensation, Rheee, COACH… We salute you and thank you for all of your contributions to the game and service in life. Our most heartfelt condolences to all of Dana’s family, friends and fans.

All Pro Wrestling is saddened to learn about the passing of APW Original, Mike Raybeck professionally known as Maxx Justice and Mike Diamond.

A 5x APW Universal Champion, Mike was a graduate of the All Pro Wrestling Boot Camp. At 6’5 and north of 250lbs he was a stand out on the California independent scene. Adopting the moniker Maxx Justice, he formed the original incarnation of the Border Patrol tag team with fellow APW alumni, Michael Modest.
Justice would go on to wrestle internationally in both Mexico and Japan as well as receiving tryouts in WWF (WWE) and WCW. Not to mention a having one of the more memorable moments in the Beyond The Mat documentary.

Mike would go on to work for the city of Hayward as a maintenance mechanic. His life was cut short following a bicycle accident where he was struck by a vehicle near Chabot College last Friday.

Our most sincere condolences go out to the family, friends and fans of Maxx Justice!

All Pro Wrestling joins the wrestling community in honoring Terry Brunk, professionally known as SABU.

A once in a lifetime generational talent, SABU’s career began in 1985 under the tutelage of his late uncle The Sheik. SABU would go on to make a name for himself in many territories including Detroit, Memphis, Canada, New York and Hawaii.

A pillar of the original ECW, Sabu revolutionized a style that could never be replicated. His wars with Terry Funk, Rob Van Dam, Shane Douglas and Taz put SABU on the map. In the days that pre-date social media, SABU was prominently featured in many of the wrestling magazines found on newsstands, captivating a global appeal and demand.

It’s hard to argue that any one performer gave more of himself to the viewing audience that SABU did. Jaw dropping, heart stopping, mesmerizing feats of nature.

Thank you SABU for all of your contributions to the game. We salute and celebrate you and your body of work. Our deepest condolences to all of SABU’s family, friends and fans. REST IN POWER.

All Pro Wrestling is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Kris Kristofferson, the country music icon and cinema legend, who passed away peacefully at home Saturday at the age of 88.

Kris was no stranger to APW, attending countless cards in support of his son, former APW Universal Champion, “War Pig” Jody Kristofferson.

At this time, we would like to offer our most heartfelt condolences to all friends, fans, and most of all, the Kristofferson family.

All Pro Wrestling offers our heartfelt condolences to the family, friends, and fans of Larry Johnson, professionally known as Sonny King, who has passed away at the age of 79.

The boxer-turned-wrestler debuted in the 1960s after befriending Ernie Ladd. In 1972, Sonny became the first African American in WWE history to hold a championship after claiming the WWWF (WWE) Tag Team Titles alongside Chief Jay Strongbow.

Sonny King would go on to hold titles in many major regional promotions, including Continental, NWA, AWA, and Championship Wrestling from Florida, before hanging up his boots in the 1980s.

All Pro Wrestling extends our deepest condolences to the familia, friends, and fans of Ray Mendoza Jr., known in the wrestling world as Villano V, who has passed away at the age of 62.

As the son of the legendary luchador Ray Mendoza, Villano V followed in his father’s footsteps, making his professional debut in 1976 under the name Rokamole, a persona previously used by his older brother Arturo (Villano III). Under his father’s guidance, Mendoza Jr. was not allowed to adopt the Villano name or wear the mask until he completed his education. In 1983, after earning this right, he proudly donned the mask and joined his brothers as part of one of the most respected factions in Lucha Libre history, capturing tag team and trios championships across all major Mexican promotions. Villano V later expanded his career, wrestling for WCW throughout the late ‘90s and into the year 2000.

All Pro Wrestling would like to offer our heartfelt condolences to the family, friends and fans of ‘Sycho’ Sid Eudy who has reportedly passed away of cancer at the age of 63.

Standing 6’9 and weighing in at over 300lbs Sid was a living, breathing monster among a land of giants. His promos, menacing demeanor and devastating move-set were truly 2nd to none.

The West-Memphis Arkansas native excelled quickly in the ranks of pro wrestling, capturing the United States, WCW and WWF (WWE) Championships.

Thank you Mr. Eudy for all of your contributions to the sport.

All Pro Wrestling would like to offer our heartfelt condolences to the family, friends and fans of Arthur “Afa” Amituana’i Anoaʻi, best known as one half of the Wild Samoans tag team with his brother Sika, who has passed away at the age of 81. Born in Samoa, Afa’s family relocated to San Francisco. At 17, Anoa’i enlisted in the USMC. After partaking in riots at Cow Palace wrestling cards, Afa’s uncle Peter Maivia and cousin Rocky Johnson decided Afa and his brother Sika would be better suited for in ring action. The brothers saw mass success the world over, capturing Tag Team Championships in Stampede, Mid-South, many NWA territories and the WWF (WWE).

After retiring from in ring competition, Afa opened the Wild Samoan Training Center where he trained of plethora of future superstars including Dave Batista (Bautista), Billy Kidman, Chris Kanyon, Gene Snitsky among many others.
Afa’s trainings are also linked the success of Michaels PS Hayes, Virgil and an entire Samoan Dynasty (Sika, Tonga Kid, Samu, Yokozuna, Rikishi, Umaga, Black Pearl, Alofa, Afa Jr. etc.)

Father to Lloyd, Afa Jr. and Samu Anoa’i, Afa’s legacy is one that will live on forever. Thank you Mr. Anoa’i (Pops) for your contributions to the sport and God speed.

All Pro Wrestling would like to offer our heartfelt condolences to the family, friends and fans of ‘Taskmaster’ Kevin Sullivan who has passed away at the age of 74.

Kevin’s wrestling journey spanned more than 5 decades beginning in Montreal (1970). Sullivan wrestled everywhere imaginable including memorable stints in every major territory including New York (WWWF/WWE), Roy Shire’s San Francisco, Georgia, Florida, Memphis, Crockett, All-Japan, NWA, Smoky Mountain and ECW before blossoming as not only a character but unlocking new levels of creativity in WCW.

Sullivan was responsible for manifesting many of WCW’s most iconic moments including the formation of the nWo, Sting’s role as The Crow, the rise of Goldberg etc.

The Boston native’s list of accolades and trophies are vast but include being the focal point in various factions including the First Family, Army of Darkness, Varsity Club, Slaughterhouse and the Dungeon of Doom.

Generations of SF wrestling goers got to experience Sullivan wars. From his blood feud with Bob Roop in the 70’s to his SF Death Match with Benoit in 1997. In 2017, we were fortunate enough to bring Kevin Sullivan back to the Bay Area for APW’s inaugural Cow Palace event where he delivered a final Tree of Woe in a fitting anarchistic setting.

We at APW celebrate Mr. Sullivan’s career and achievements. We salute and thank Kevin for all of his contributions.
