Whispers is an Emmy Award–nominated interactive murder mystery experience from the mind of 3x Emmy winner Bernie Su. Using only your phone and the big screen, find clues, interrogate suspects, and restore justice. As the audience, you whisper directly into the mind of Detective Marcus Kent, feeding him hunches, theories, and wild leads to guide his murder investigation. In a single hour a mystery unfolds and only you, the audience, can put all the pieces together.
Bernie Su (creator & showrunner) is a Peabody winner and the first person to win a Primetime Emmy for interactive storytelling — 2013 (The Lizzie Bennet Diaries), 2015 (Emma Approved), 2019 (Artificial). Pickford AI (producer) was co-founded by CEO Stephen Piron — previously co-founder of Dessa, the AI company behind 2019’s famous Joe Rogan voice demo, acquired by Block, Inc. — and Cole Clifford, an engineer-turned-founder. Whispers is one of the first productions built on SAG-AFTRA’s AI framework for fair, permissioned voice cloning.
