I wrote a letter for the Action Network letter campaign: Formal Notice Regarding the Civilian Humanitarian Vessel Madleen and the Legal Obligations of the State of Israel Under International Law.

Today, UN experts demanded safe passage for the Freedom Flotilla Coalition's ship Madleen, you can join them by putting Israel on notice. As the Madleen sails from Catania toward Gaza carrying unarmed civilians and humanitarian aid, the flotilla needs your support to issue formal warning to Israel’s political and military leadership. We are putting them on notice: any harm to the Madleen or its volunteers will be treated as a grave violation of international law. But this letter alone will not stop an attack on those trying to deliver aid to the Palestinian people of Gaza. Your voice and action are what make this protection real.
