The Russian Center of San Francisco was founded in 1939 by Russian immigrants to preserve, celebrate, and exhibit the rich cultural heritage of
the Russian and Slavic diaspora through community programs and events.
Our mission of preserving Slavic heritage and culture continues to this day. We welcome all individuals interested in Slavic culture and provide community building opportunities for Slavic-speaking immigrants. We strive to foster a deeper appreciation of Russian and Slavic heritage, history, language, arts and traditions to inspire future generations.
