āThe 2025/26 season is one Iāve been looking forward to with a lot of excitement and anticipation! I am returning to the for my role debut as The Incredible in Andrea Chenier, during which time I will reach my 100th performance with the company, having sung there more than any other house.
And while NYC is one of my bases, I am beyond ecstatic to be singing my favorite role, Loge in Das Rheingold, both in Austria with the and in Germany with the ā the latter of which being another base of mine in recent years.
The significance of these two milestones in one season makes the theme of āhomeā resonate: while transience is such a large part of a career as an opera singer, one can find āhomeā in the places and companies one knows well, as well as finding āhomeā in a role that is tailor-fit to oneās voice, skill-set, and artistic vision.ā

The 2025ā2026 season sees Brentās return to the role of Loge in a new production of Das Rheingold marking his debut with the Osterfestspiel Salzburg, conducted by Kirill Petrenko. He will also perform the same role in concert with the Berlin Philharmoniker. Brent continues his longstanding relationship with the singing Steuermann in Der Fliegende HollƤnder on tour in Shanghai, China, as well as Don Basilio in a concert performance of Le nozze di Figaro.
