Sam Whiting writes about The Alhambra Project for the San Francisco Chronicle and SFGATE: "The glorious marquee is all that still burns from Polk Street’s Alhambra movie palace, now a Crunch Gym. But for one night, it will all come back, thanks to 'The Alhambra Project,' a video intervention and performance."

Also opening this Friday 9/30 from 6pm-8.30pm is a satellite exhibition at Backstage Salon (down the street from the Alhambra Theatre) of prints showing portraits of participants in the Alhambra Project incorporated into patterns from the original Alhambra Palace in Spain.
