This is a piece that I started a few days ago and finished this morning. I used Crayola blending markers to color this piece in and I didn't love how they bled everywhere. To their credit, they have a bright pigment and don't leave streaks. They just wouldn't be my first choice for doodles with small spaces to color in.

I'm still pleased with how this turned out.

I was going to wait to share this but I just couldn't. I'm experimenting with different styles of doodling. I love how this turned out.

I'm still debating on whether or not to color it in. My instincts are telling me to leave it in black and white, but we'll see. I look forward to experimenting with different shapes and patterns in this particular style.

As promised, a new doodle. I like the pattern, but not the colors. I think I'll send it to a friend in The Netherlands.

Hey, everybody.

The page was temporarily unpublished while I got my act together. From here on out, I'll be sharing my art here. I plan to come out with a coloring book sometimes next year and I will be looking for some reviewers starting early next year. So, stay tuned.

I think my next big "art" investment will be in some alcohol-based markers. It will definitely help with my blending. Overall, I'm very pleased with it. I hope the friend I send it to likes it, too.

If you live in the United States, let me know if you would like to color this in and I'll send it to. The only thing I'd ask in return is that you post a picture of the finished product when you're done.

I'm one of those dorky people who likes to send mail to pen pals. While I do love to send lengthy letters, I often send postcard art to friends who would prefer more succinct correspondence.

This was the first piece I created for a coloring zine that I'm presently working on. Though I love complex tangle combinations where there are 5 or more designs packed into a piece, I think my preference is to select 3 or 4 and repeat them through a design. I think it's more visually appealing.

I'll be sending this to a pen pal soon. I'm very proud of it.
