On Friday October 18, come to Listen at Beth Sholom to experience True Life Trio.

Since its inception in 2010, True Life Trio has enchanted audiences all across the West. Their concerts take audiences on a borderless journey through the villages of Ukraine, the mountains of Bulgaria and Louisiana’s Cajun country, demonstrating the beauty, power and diversity of vocally driven folk music from Eastern Europe and North America.

Welcome to Season 2 of Listen, a Friday night spiritual music experience curated by Jeremiah Lockwood at Congregation Beth Sholom, located in San Francisco, California. Listen is held the third Friday of each month and offers a hybrid concert and sacred experience in an intimate and off the beaten path setting. We are pleased to be building on an exciting first season that featured internationally renowned local artists (and a handful of touring acts) including Ziek McCarter (of Con Brio), Veretski Pass , Terrie Odabi Vocalist, Ravid Kahalani (of Yemen Blues - Ravid Kahalani) among others. The second season kicked off this week with a breath taking performance by Fay Victor. Future artists on the program include True Life Trio, Laurie Lewis, Charming Hostess and Kenny Warren (hailing from Brooklyn, NY).
