We're gonna be in the movies! If you're at Bottom this weekend (Thurs-Sunday) you might be too.

The official Bottom of the Hill documentary begins filming this weekend at the club. You'll know the crew (directors Chris and Kevin and the cinematographer Sherri and sound man Thayer) as the people with the equipment trying not to get in the way of your enjoyment of the music.

Five months down and only a precious seven more to go at Bottom of the Hill, friends! Some legendary artists return to honor our stage throughout June. Reunions rule! We also welcome some fresh alt-country/jam band sounds on the 5th with Mikela Davis, The Cormorants and Alex Koford. Messer Chups, traveling all the way from Saint Petersburg, Russia, bringing their surf/rockabilly/horror punk music on June 16th IS NOT TO BE MISSED! 3HL, The Greasy Gills and DJ Sid Presley bring their mighty support to the bill. Later in the month, on the 21st, you'll be amazed by how many instrumentalists can fit on our stage when ska musicians Half Past Two, Chudson and Voluntary Hazing bring their skank to SF. We were supposed to host Japanese action punk comic legends Peelander-Z tomorrow, but a horrific accident in New Mexico sent them into the hospital instead, and we are devastated that all 3 of them will have a long recovery ahead. We are the hugest fans of this band, who played our stage in '05, '12, and '19 and always bring the most high energy and fun show to our stage and make us smile and dance. We wish them a speedy recovery and hopefully they can be back to playing music before too long. Please donate to these amazing humans if you can. As you know, musicians are among the most vulnerable among us, and we need to band together to help!
