Eclectic Box SF Eclectic Box is focused on bringing stories to the stage that you won't find anywhere else. A 70-seat Theatre in the heart of The Mission.

Our goal is to showcase new sides of theater and introduce as many people as possible to the magic of live performances. Whether it's a reimagining of a classic movie, improv and sketch comedy, or original works you've got to see to believe, Eclectic Box is ready to present all of it. Live theater is a staple in San Francisco and we want to not only keep it going but bring it to another level. We'

re here to be the new home to the dreamers of dreams, an inclusive space for creativity, the wild artistic pulse that has drawn so many bright lights to our technicolor city. Just steps from Eclectic Box, the Roxie is hosting RE:VISION- Festival of Restoration and Rediscovery from September 24–27. This four day celebration brings rare, newly restored, and archival films back to the big screen, spanning decades, countries, and genres. Each program pairs a feature with a curated short, creating fourteen chances to catch cinematic gems you won’t find on any streaming platform. A perfect neighborhood treat for film lovers and anyone who enjoys discovering something unexpected.

Welp! August is coming to an end. Let's see what's happening at The Box for September! Kicking the month off we have Magician and Mentalist David Gerard with his mind games, then we a little stroll down the road to self destruction and recovery with the dark comedy The White Chip. Mid-month, Mulder and Scully return with The X-Files: The Parody is Out There. Let's not forget the gang from Drunk Theatre on the 1st and 3rd Saturday. Today we lost a national treasure. Dolly Parton has always been more than a music icon. She was a fighter for community and giving people the tools to shine.
Her advocacy for literacy and access reminds us why spaces like Eclectic Box matter. Places where stories are shared and voices are heard. She was an inspiration to all of us here. We love you Dolly! 😭😭😭
