Eclectic Box SF

Directions Website

Eclectic Box is focused on bringing stories to the stage that you won't find anywhere else. A 70-seat Theatre in the heart of The Mission.

Our goal is to showcase new sides of theater and introduce as many people as possible to the magic of live performances. Whether it's a reimagining of a classic movie, improv and sketch comedy, or original works you've got to see to believe, Eclectic Box is ready to present all of it. Live theater is a staple in San Francisco and we want to not only keep it going but bring it to another level. We're here to be the new home to the dreamers of dreams, an inclusive space for creativity, the wild artistic pulse that has drawn so many bright lights to our technicolor city. Eclectic Box is continuing the San Francisco tradition of giving a place for the off-beat among us to see visions come to life. Stop by and see what we're all about.

Weekly Artist Spotlight!!
Featured Artist: Ned Hansen , Wig Stylist

Looking for support from local artists who help bring Bay Area theater to life behind the scenes? Each week, we’re highlighting a creative who regularly collaborates with companies in our community; the folks whose work shapes what you see onstage long before opening night.

Ned Hansen is a Bay Area wig stylist, makeup artist, and costume fabricator whose work brings worlds to life across immersive theater, horror productions, and live performance. Whether crafting era‑accurate styles or building character‑driven silhouettes, Ned’s work blends technical precision with playful, whimsical creativity.
