Live slow, die old 🥀🐢

Another fun one! Lately, I've been trying to turn my phone off more and sit in stillness. This means silence when I put on makeup, eating lunch without a podcast playing, drawing without Bob's burgers on. I think slowing down allows me to be present and appreciate what I have right now!

Romanticize your life 🫵

Made this a few years back when I realized I was working as a full time student, intern, and art teacher 2 years ago 😭 I had no break for anything and only realistically had time for work only. When I made this, I realized I needed to slow down and balance my life.

One (of many) thing I love the most about being with my partner is how different we are. When we're together, we try each other's favorite hobbies and interests. Jared is really outgoing, while sometimes I can be the more introverted one lol... Im grateful to be able to experience moments outside of my comfort zone thanks to him.

Can you tell l've been watching a lot of S*x in the City 4) I turned 27 this year and though I'm still very young, I can feel such a shift emerging into my late 20s and inevitably my 30s. All the things I wanted in college are now things I have, but i sometimes reminisce on the times where everything felt so new. I remember when I was in college that I wish I had my career already, and I had no clue how to even navigate the Bay Area Art space.
It feels like no matter what stage, there's always going to be a bit of envy for your future, and nostalgia for your past self.
