LANTERN LIGHTS is officially on my site! Originally designed in honor of the Moon Festival, this embroidery kit is inspired by late summer nights with friends and family. This kit includes everything you'll need to complete the project, including instructions, preprinted fabric, threads, hoop, and needle. Great for all skill levels!

It's time for another round of FREE Mid-Autumn Festival workshops with , this time featuring my newest pattern - Lantern Lights 🏮 We just had our first one at Atherton Library yesterday and it was lots of fun! There are so many techniques in this one, so if you're looking for a crash course in embroidery, this is the class for you. Check out my events page for sign up links and RSVP quickly since these classes always fill up super fast (I do also recommend joining the waitlist and showing up to class anyway - some people sign up for the class and then don't show up 👀). Can't make it to class? This kit will be added to my website and Faire and be available at my in person markets starting next week!

It's officially the start of the 'Ber months 🍂 Something about fall makes me extra excited to embroider (and do all the other fiber arts too of course), and y'all seem to agree! We have a stacked September with two art and w**e festivals and my next round of library workshops. Here's where you can find me:

We're back at **e on 9/12 and 9/13 🎨 This is a HUGE event taking place in downtown Mountain View on Castro Street featuring so many local artisans and small businesses. We had so much fun last year and we're excited to be back!

Keeping the energy going at **e on 9/19 and 9/20 (yes, that's two back to back art and w**e festivals. Everything will be fine) 🍷 I'll be hosting an interactive booth this weekend - grab a kit or bring your own fiber art project and sit down at my booth for a little crafting circle moment! I'll talk more about this later, but I hope y'all will join in on the fun!

It's that time of year again - my next round of FREE library workshops with are now open for sign ups! We'll be working on my newest pattern in honor of the Mid-Autumn Festival: Lantern Lights 🏮 Sign ups usually fill up quickly, but I highly recommend joining the waitlist and trying your luck. Otherwise, this pattern will also be available as a kit as soon as all of my packaging stuff gets here. More dates and details to come!

Lots of experimentation going on behind the scenes, including this 3D puffy embroidery technique using hot glue! I'm loving working with the organic shape of the glue - very doodly and cute 🤗

Ok seriously though, I do want to revisit hand sewing and felt projects in the future! Maybe giving myself a week to present it for a workshop proposal was ambitious though 😅 Sometimes the audacity catches up to you...

I'm home from my summer trip and slowly getting into the second half of the year! Not too many events in July and August, so I'm working on a lot of fun things behind the scenes in preparation for a very busy holiday season 👀 As always, my calendar is updated on my site if you want to see my full schedule for the rest of the year. In the meantime, here's where you can find me:

I'm back at for Little Shops Village with 7/10-7/11! I had a lot of fun last year, so I'm so glad to be back 🥰 This is a night market with plenty of your fave vendors and food booths. I'll be debuting a new booth set up at this event, so come be the first to see it this weekend!

It's once again market season 7/21-7/23 (Insiders shop a day early)! Retailers, stock up on your favorite kits and try some new ones while you're at it 😉 More info to come soon!

I'll be at Hot Pawgust Night, a fundraising event hosted by on 8/15 🐾 Taro is not up for adoption, but plenty of shelter animals will be. Check out the car show and meet the animals!

Just two more Floral Sampler library workshops at Gilroy on 7/18 and Milpitas on 7/25! Y'all have been loving these workshops and I'm so grateful for everyone who shows up for these full classes 🫶 BTW, even if the class is listed as full, I recommend still adding yourself to the waitlist and showing up anyway. You never know, a spot might open up 😉 Visit and sign up on their site!

Having lots of fun with my library workshops so far this summer! I've taught 6 full workshops (5 Floral Sampler and 1 Fuzzy Bumblebee) in June and will be teaching 2 more next month. I'm always so inspired by y'all's excitement to learn new skills, and love seeing returning students come back for more embroidery! If you can't make it to my classes, not to worry - both Floral Sampler and Fuzzy Bumblebee are available on my site as embroidery kits 😉 Otherwise, check out my calendar to see when my next workshops and markets are if you wanna see my work in person!

It's June, which means it's time for night markets and workshops to beat the summer heat! here's where I'm gonna be this month:

We'll be at the Santa Clara Night Market again on 6/5-6/6! Come by after work for live performances, food trucks, and of course your favorite local artists 🤗 I'm about to leave for this event as I am writing this post, so I hope to see y'all soon!

Lots of free workshops coming up this month! I'll be teaching a workshop featuring my Fuzzy Bumblebee pattern at Wunderlich Park on 6/18 and my Floral Sampler workshop at various branches throughout June and July. Some of these workshops are already full, BUT I highly recommend joining the waitlist and showing up to the events anyway since spaces tend to open up the day of 😉

I'll be at San Jose History park for Fest this weekend! Thankfully, it doesn't look like it will be a heat wave this time ;) I'm over in Booth B29 (next to the K-Pop Stage) with all of my usual embroidery kits and stitchy notions, plus one new kit that I have been teasing but haven't officially announced yet 👀

I'll be popping up tomorrow at for their Bloom & Belonging AAPI Heritage Month market! Come hang out with 10 local artists and learn about the incredible marine mammal conservation they're doing in Sausalito. The pop up is officially 10 AM - 2 PM but feel free to explore the center until 4 PM. See y'all there!
