SF Venue Owners and Operators, music venue specific Type 90 liquor license is live in California!

The Type 90 license authorizes the sale of beer, wine, and distilled spirits at retail for consumption on the premises in a music entertainment facility, effectively allowing venues to host all ages shows without the obligation to provide meals. Additionally, venues that receive a Type 90 can sell their 47 or 48!

PianoFight has been one of the boldest and strongest advocates for arts and culture as well as a constructive force for it’s San Francisco community. Since it opened in 2007, the venue has served as a candid creative sanctuary for local artists to focus on creating and sharing their craft. As a co-founding venue of the SFVC and active member of NIVA CA, Pianofight’s founders have fought fiercely to preserve independent venues and the creative ecosystem that propagates the heart and soul of this city. We have so much love, appreciation and gratitude for what Pianofight accomplished - without it our community will not be the same.

The scrappy Bay Area company delivered something special: a performance space that really was for everyone.
