I, personally, try not to excessively fret over my pi**he internet numbers. However, it does bother me to think that I have self-published an entire discography of albums and singles as a gift for all ears that the world may not be actively taking advantage of. I made the recordings to satisfy my own restless, intuitive, and primal need to make songs, to make art, to make poetry, and to make music, but I pay for them to be published so that they will be available TO YOU. I am a shy-ass mo********er, and I would prefer to hide my art and never share a goddamned vulnerable part of me with anyone. However, I want the world to have my work as a place to go when they feel alone ( just like other people’s music has always been there for me ), and the act of sharing, although typically painful, feels like the right thing to do. So, when I see low numbers on my internet pages, then I am concerned about my published work being an underutilized public resource. I am so grateful for all four of my Spotify listeners last month, but I believe that more people should be taking advantage of this public resource. Have a listen. These songs are for you. *
