Kunoichi Productions is proud to be a co-producer along with Theatre Nohgaku and Theatre of Yugen at NOHspace of In a Memory Palace, book by Edith Newton, music by David Crandall and Kevin Salfen, directed by Jubilith Moore.

This English language Noh tells the story of an A***n woman married to a Jewish man who fled from Vienna to America at the start of World War II. It delves into the experience of forced displacement, of being a refuge, and all that one has to leave behind.

The score uses traditional Noh music as its core theme, enhanced by variations inspired by Viennese waltz and the music of Mozart.

Like all good Noh, this is a performance that cannot be adequately described - you must experience it for yourself.
