Faith hangs in the air over every moment we’re here in Nepal. It’s in the shared culture of our growing circle of Nepalese Buddhist and Hindu friends to worship the divine that binds us together, to believe, to pray constantly.

To be in this bright, colorful, sacred place for this long has been magical. To record it through moments slows down time. Im eager to bring this consciousness home. We’re charged to make a film that combats the stigma these women face daily, to bring forth their stories so they hit home then share them with the world.

These women are changing the world with their work and we are lucky to be their witnesses. Nepal is a team of powerful women who are using art to support and heal young girls who have been rescued from s*x trafficking. They are powerful, compassionate and committed to their mission and we at are honored to capture their efforts and share them with the world 🌍

and I are watching unsung heroes give all of themselves to this cause. They are doing the tireless work of bringing light to the dark underbelly of humanity. We can’t wait for you to see them and honor them with us 🤲🏼

Day 3 - Samson leads us through Kibera, the Nairobi neighborhood where he grew up. He can’t go anywhere without friends or family stopping him to say hi.

His Kibera is alive with smells of fried beef, sun dried and smoked Athola, and the sounds of metal welding and wood carving. Swahili singing over the sunset. I love this place through his eyes. Harambee Arts Cassidy Friedman Clearly Clarity

What is Love?

It’s boys cuddling and caressing each other’s faces in a school room.

It’s a quiet man looking deep into the eyes of a young person and showering his art with praise.

It’s a boy dancing in a wheelchair in a circle of cheering friends.

It’s dreaming up a program and then stepping back to watch it from the eaves.

While recording these images, we’re also basking in this love and wanting to bring it back to our families, friends - even those we disagree with - and never have it stop.
