Starting off October BOLD 🎇

Thank you Bold Journey for giving me the chance to share some thoughts about imposter syndrome and perfectionism.
Three years into this journey and there’s so many exciting growth opportunities coming up! This couldn’t be possible without my mentors and community.
Thank you to The Alliance for Com Dev SCORE Mentors The Acceleration Project for being my mentors and supporting my growth as an entrepreneur. Happy Monday! I have a few exciting things and Good good news to share🐞

I’ll be on LIVE! in the Bay on Monday October 5th to share about what it’s been like running a creative business in the Bay ❤️ Thank you to KRON4 News for this amazing opportunity!
I’m also super excited and honored to be a part of Nest Makers Future Fund. This will allow me to continue strengthening my business skills through financial readiness curriculum and 1:1 coaching ❤️❤️

Milito is healed, healthy and off of his medication ✨

Pili (my momma) will be in town after not seeing each other for close to a year 💃🏻🫂

Life is good ❤️ shout out to all the artists that keep city’s spirits alive. Going to La Fiesta de las Americas and Oakland’s Chinatown night market last weekends was such a beautiful reminder of this🐞

Happy Latino Heritage month to all of the kids of immigrants❤️ Today I’m honoring my roots through cross stitch and a photo that shows a snippet of my family’s history.
This is a photo of me as a baby at my parent’s small shop in Santiago Chile (1993), which was passed on to them after my grandfather’s passing. They owned a food business that had a small house attached to it, which is where I was born ❤️ entrepreneurship runs through my family history and I’m so honored to be able to do what I love and carry their spirit with me.

FELIZ MES DE LA HERENCIA HISPANA. 💃🏻✨🧜🏼‍♀️💅🏼
Ayer me preguntaron en una entrevista (👀) que significa ser Latina y tuve que dar una respuesta de dos frases, acotada y políticamente correcta.

Lo que realmente se me vino a la mente fue:
Ser madre perruna del Milo y que le encantan los cachitos de las empanadas de pino,
Que todos los años lloro por que extraño estar en el mejor país de Chile para el 18,
El invitar a mis amigas de Oakland a tomar once completo,
Explicar modismos propios de la picardía chilensis,
como saber que el terremoto se toma y se siente 💃🏻
Hablar en español con mis vecinos
El extrañar las sopaipillas (pasadas) en el invierno y las palmerita y cuchufli relleno con manjar durante el verano.
Es siempre buscar un vinito chileno en el súper para sentirme más en casa.
Y seguir hechandole ganas al emprendimiento de la misma manera que lo hicieron mis papás.
Es sentirme contectada a Chile vez que miro el mar pacífico de California ❤️

🌸Saturday September 5th from 2:00-5:00pm join us for a Needle Punching workshop at San Jose Museum of Quilts & Textiles - free with your admission ticket. Come and make your one-of-a-kind coaster. All materials are included!

🌸Saturday September 19th from 11:00-1:00pm come and make a Pony Bead Tapestry at Northlake! This event is free/ donation based.

🌸September 25th from 6:00-9:00pm we are celebrating one year of Mocktails and Makers with Discover Community Cafe. Come cross stitch a photo with us ❤️ your ticket includes a season mocktail!
🌸Saturday September 27th from 12:00-2:00 we will be doing some repujado at NIDO’s BackYard. Come make a tin embossed picture frame with us ❤️
