Organization: African American Art & Culture Complex - San Francisco, CA (onsite)

Salary: $135,000–$160,000 annually plus benefits

The African American Art & Culture Complex (AAACC) is seeking a permanent Executive Director to lead the organization into its next chapter.

Located in San Francisco’s historic Fillmore/Western Addition neighborhood, AAACC is a cornerstone Black arts and cultural institution serving artists, cultural workers, and the broader community. The Executive Director will provide overall organizational leadership, steward AAACC’s mission and legacy, and guide the organization through a period of transition and long-term planning.

This role partners closely with staff, community stakeholders, and the Board of Directors, with a focus on organizational stability, financial sustainability, and strong community relationships.

On Wednesday, October 8th, come out to the African American Art and Culture Complex for a complimentary screening of Reclaiming Our Humanity, a documentary film by Robert Alexander.

In Reclaiming Our Humanity, we explore the remarkable journeys of six African American men who defied the odds by rebuilding their lives after incarceration. Their stories are testaments to the power of determination, redemption, and the human spirit.
