Over nineteen years, Eveoke Dance Theatre has fulfilled her mission of cultivating compassionate social action through evocative performance, arts education and community building. There have been trials, tribulations, and great successes. We are indebted to our wonderful supporters for helping us to create and inspire nearly two decades of soul-enriching art.

However, the economic challenges of our day have taken a steep toll. At this moment in our journey, board members and staff have decided that Eveoke Dance Theatre needs to take a hiatus to restructure, re-organize and rejuvenate. Our plan is to return as a balanced and sustainable organization.

On August 3, 2013 at 7:00pm, Eveoke will have her last event in our beautiful space. Please join us in celebrating Eveoke and giving gratitude to all of our supporters.

Make it a Dance day start moving your incredible body and lovely soul with Araceli Carrera and Becky Hurt. Today starting at 5-6:15, 6:15-7:30 and 7:30 -8:30 lots of good music and moves plus a lot of smiling to share.

If you have been procrastinating don't, now is the time to make things happen. Have your son or daughter join this intensive and have them explore movement, choreography, capoeira, visual art and afro-venezuelan from amazing teachers: Cybele Peña Araceli Carrera, Jessica Rabanzo-Flores and Ilana Qrz.Students will learn watercolor and pastel technique from Araceli Carrera and explore their connection to selflove and worldlove.
