CARLOS MENDEZ

After growing up a fan of all things funny, Carlos Mendez decided that he wanted to be a comic. It only took him about 5 years to gather up the courage to really look into open-mics in San Diego and decide which one he was going to perform in... and then another 5 months to actually go up. On May 15, 2012 he drove to the Mad House Comedy Club to deliver one of the most awkward sets ever, but he was hooked and this was the start of his comedy career.

His own style of depressive comedy deals with a lot of self-deprecation, the futility of things, and different psychological issues along with observational humor showing he has enough hate left over for others as well. His bleak outlook allows him to stare into the dark and laugh, showing audiences that everyone has problems and insecurities meaning no one has to deal with them alone. He's depressed so you don't have to be.

ANTHONY MAZE

Anthony Maze is more than just a comedian, he's a Comedian Magician! Anthony has blended the skill of magic with the art of standup comedy to provide an act you won't soon forget. For over 20 years he has been performing for theaters, comedy clubs, corporate events, and schools - he's even performed as a US Marine for combat pilots while flying a mission over Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom (he even has the pictures to prove it!)

Anthony's most notable accomplishments have been appearances on Criss Angel's: Mindfreak on A&E and NBC's Fear Factor, with Joe Rogan. Here are just a few of the reactions from seeing Anthony Maze perform:

"That was AMAZING!" - Diana Dahlgren (Miss Supercross)

"Fooled me, that was good!" - Criss Angel

"How the hell did you do that?" - Jeff Krapf (host of Tonight in San Diego)

"You had me CRYING from laughter!" - Hallie Byrd (ACES Comedy Club)

"I hate seeing magicians, but YOU WERE GOOD!" - Sharon Smith (Jon Lovitz Comedy Club)

"THE" JON ALLEN

The winner of the 2014 "I'm Funnier Than" Comedy Contest, Jon had a hunch he'd be getting into comedy from an early age. Be it getting in trouble for doing impressions of his teachers and classmates, or creating his first sketch comedy album in junior high with his best friend, the proverbial hand writing was on the wall. his first noted gig would come from the launching of his voice over career via a guest spot on the popular animated series "Dragonball Z." More recently, he's been seen on the television series "The Ex-List" on CBS and "My Profile Story" on Comedy Central’s Atom TV, as well as award winning movies like Donut Shop Hero and Save Ron Jr. Jon's also the voice of Jarvis in "PAIN," the most purchased title on the Playstation 3 gaming system. As an impressionist, no celebrity is safe as Jon takes on anyone and everyone in his act using the same skills he's honed through years of being a voice actor to entertain crowds of all kinds. as if comedy and acting didn't keep him busy enough though, he's also active in the pro wrestling world, providing commentary for Fans United Wrestling, and even competes personally on occasion! Simply put, as an entertainer, Jon is boredom's worst nightmare.

JAMEY BUSH

A transplant from Seattle, Jamey has been involved in Music & Theatre since the early 1980s. He is the middle child in a family of nine and started doing standup at the age of twelve, when he received a Mr. Microphone for Christmas. Using the acoustics of his family’s bathroom, his first performance received mixed reviews. "I think he is funny" "Yeah" "Looking" "Hey let's beat him up again" and "I made a p**p." In 2002 Jamey re-entered the world of comedy and has since been a regular in the "Best of San Diego" show at the world famous Comedy Store in addition to many other clubs, becoming a crowd favorite everywhere he's performed for his very honest, funny, and likable views on his family life. He was a founding member of the popular sketch troupe Amish Television, has been in an award winning short film at the 48 Hour Film Festival, and is currently in voice recordings for a new interactive MP3 project to be announced soon. He'd wish you and your family well, but that would require getting off of the couch.
