🏛️ Did you know? The San Diego Civic Theatre opened in 1965, designed by visionary architect Lloyd Ruocco. From that very first performance featuring the San Diego Symphony to today, this iconic venue has been the heart of performing arts in our region.

The Civic has been the home of many incredible partners like Broadway San Diego, City Ballet of San Diego, Classics 4 Kids, Gay Men's Chorus, Golden State Ballet, La Jolla Music Society, Mariachi Scholarship Foundation, San Diego Opera, and Teatro Máscara Mágica, along so many more who bring world-class performances to our stage.

For most events, parking for the Evan V. Jones Parkade can be purchased in advance when buying tickets through Ticketmaster — helping make arrival a little easier on event day.

📍 Located at 1st Avenue & A Street
♿ Accessible parking is available on every floor (placard/license plate required)

Once parked, take the elevator to Street Level (S) and follow signs to the Civic Theatre and Ticket Office.

We recommend purchasing in advance when available to help streamline your arrival.
