STORY TIME WITH MRS. CLAUS
The holiday season is upon us and a great way to spread joy at your holiday party is by having Mrs. Claus visit for storytime. Story time with Mrs. Claus is a good way to show children the importance of reading. Kimberly Mumford has been portraying Mrs. Claus for the past 29 years and she has been able to open thousands of children’s imaginations and flow of creativity by doing Story Time Entertainment. I wear an authentic costume as Mrs. Claus that my mother designed.
The Visit from Mrs. Claus will include the following:
• Her arrival- She talks with the children about how she got to their party and preparing for Christmas.
• Question/Answer Session- Includes questions about Santa, The North Pole, our Reindeers, Santa’s favorite cookies, and the number of elves at the North Pole.
• The Reading- Mrs. Claus reads holiday classic books to the children.
• Sing-a-longs- The children sing holiday carols with Mrs. Claus and they participate with the ringing of the bells.
• Last Minute Requests- Every child forgets something on his/her “wish list”.
• Closing- A message from Mrs. Claus about being good, listening, and getting to bed early on Christmas Eve and tells the children to leave cookies and milk for Santa and carrots for our reindeers.
Kimberly Mumford is a professional Mrs. Claus and has made appearances at the Viewmont Mall parade, Steamtown Mall Parade, WNEP-TV Channel 16 Weather in the Backyard with Tom Clark, Mrs. Judy’s Christmas T.V.
