Josh has waited a lifetime for this.

Growing up in New York City, he and his dad spent countless nights at Madison Square Garden, cheering on the Knicks through every season, every heartbreak, and every glimmer of hope.

Rachel and Josh met in NYC in 1994, and one of their very first dates was a Knicks game. Years later, in 1997, they reconnected when Josh returned to New York during the Knicks’ playoff run. Somehow, the Knicks have been woven into their story from the very beginning.

This season felt different. Every comeback, every clutch shot, every packed Garden crowd brought back the belief that Knicks fans have carried for decades.

And Josh didn’t even realize how much this championship meant to him until these Finals. He had dreamed about the Knicks winning his entire life, but it wasn’t until the stress, anticipation, and emotion of every game that he understood just how deeply he cared. Decades of hope, loyalty, heartbreak, and memories were all wrapped up in this team.

With the kids home for the summer, the whole family gathered to watch together. After a lifetime of waiting, years of devotion, and generations of memories tied to the orange and blue, the Knicks finally brought home the championship.

A perfect ending to an unforgettable season.
