✨ Stepping back in time ✨
There’s something almost otherworldly about Norway’s Borgund stave church — dark wood, dragon-like carvings, and centuries of history layered into every beam. Standing here feels like walking into a Viking saga.

Would you explore a place like this on a stormy day? 🌧️

⛰️💦 Wild, raw, and untamed.
This is the kind of place that reminds you how small we really are compared to nature. Towering peaks, glacier-fed waters, and waterfalls crashing straight down the cliffs — Norway never misses. 🇳🇴🔥

Would you kayak across this lake or hike straight into those mountains? 🛶🥾

Standing at the foot of Briksdal Glacier feels like stepping into another world ❄️🇳🇴 The roar of the waterfalls, the blue ice, the crisp mountain air… nature at its most powerful.

The view of Geiranger from the Dalsnibba Skywalk. See if you can spot the cruise ship! It’s easier to see on the 2nd picture. This cruise was the MSC Euribia which holds 6000+ passengers plus crew. The town of Geiranger where it is docked has a year round population of 250 people!

Sunset in Geirangerfjord in Norway. I took this photo around 11:30pm. Seeing the sky lit up in the middle of the night is amazing.

This fjord was created by glaciers in the last ice age. It has been listed as a UNESCO site since 2005. The fjord is 1 mile wide at the widest and is 9.3 miles long.

Trollstigen or translated the Troll Path.

This road is also part of the Geiranger-Trollstigen scenic tourist route in Norway. The switchbacks were closed for construction when I was there but the view from the top was amazing. It’s pretty incredible seeing how this road was built.

The town of Alesund! This was one of my favorites. Most of the buildings were build between 1904 and 1907 because of a large fire that damaged most of the city.

Would you drive across this bridge??

The Atlantic Ocean Road in Norway is a 5.2m road that goes between Averøy and Vevang. The road is built a cross a group of small islands using 8 bridges, causeways, and tunnels. The bridge in the photos here is the Storseiundet Bridge. It’s not as extreme as the photo shows but what fun would it be to not show the fun angles you can get of it!

This road is 1 of 18 National Tourist Routes in Norway. I probably did half of these routes and they were all incredible.

Rothenburg ob der Tauber. I loved the city because it still had a fully intact city wall which is very rare for Germany. If it looks like a movie that’s probably because it was the inspiration for Pinocchio and was also used for some scenes in Harry Potter 1 and 2.
