The Balboa Theatre Foundation hosted a joyful celebration of San Diego's exquisite Wonder Morton Organ. Thank you, Ken Double, for wowing us with your dazzling performance. And sincere thanks to the regional arts and culture advocates who turned out for an inspiring afternoon in the heart of Downtown's Theatre Arts District.

Do you like to ice skate?? Great news- Music by The Wonder Morton Organ will be featured as accompaniment at the Horton Square (Horton Plaza Downtown) Ice Rink beginning tomorrow night. This fabulous sounding backdrop will revolve with other soundscape for your skating and listening pleasure! We know this will inspire numerous fans to want to see and hear the Organ in person at future events!

If you’d like to see the Valencia in person, visiting hours are between 11:00am – 11:45am on Sundays. Please come during these times so as to not disrupt service, which goes on during the rest of the day.

The Balboa Theatre Foundation introduces "Graze the Gaslamp," an exclusive benefit extended to guests of the November 3rd late-afternoon screening of Buster Keaton’s silent masterwork, “The General,” at the majestic Balboa Theatre.

Silent film attendees are invited to extend their stay in the Gaslamp by dining with one or more of the Balboa Theatre Foundation’s 11 dining partners: Bandar Restaurant, Hard Rock Café, Operacaffe, Chianti, Greystone, La Fiesta, Ocean Room, Osetra, Panevino, Athens Market, and Urban Bar & Grill. Special dining packages will be extended to diners who can demonstrate their attendance at the silent film screening by showing their ticket stub or program, or offering a secret password when making their dining reservations.
