Spanish singer-songwriter Manuel Maria Ruiz & Alma Andaluza present Rosa Roja — a journey through romantic Spanish music, original songs, and songs from his homeland, Andalucía, where poetry becomes song and the warmth of Spanish music is enriched with beautiful touches of flamenco.

Alma Andaluza is the wonderful team of professional artists who, together with Manuel Maria Ruiz, bring his music and stories to life on stage through music, movement, and emotion.

✨ARTIST HIGHLIGHT ✨Gabriel Rodríguez from Villa de Moya, Gran Canaria, began his musical training at the age of five, studying the transverse flute at the Moya Arts Schools. He later pursued professional-level studies at the Las Palmas de Gran Canaria Conservatory, graduating with honors.
With an early interest in roots music, he has explored jazz, Canarian folk music, flamenco, and Latin music, developing his musical voice under the guidance of musicians such as Rayko León, Juan Galiardo, and Ernesto Aurignac.
He is a co-founder of Tabaiba Project, an initiative that fuses Canarian folk music, jazz, and other contemporary styles. His primary artistic focus is currently flamenco; within this genre, he created and leads *Madai*—a fusion project blending Canarian folk music and flamenco—and is currently working on his debut album.
After completing his higher education at the Rafael Orozco Higher Conservatory of Music in Córdoba, he has performed in Seville’s *tablaos* and collaborated on projects with guitarists such as Manuel Cerpa, Manuel Herrera, and Pablo Heredia, solidifying a career that bridges tradition, improvisation, and contemporary sonic exploration.
