Every other month, DRIP opens its doors for DROP-IN, our FREE community class series built to give the next generation of instructors a real space to shine. 🌟

Every series brings you:
💪🏾 1 fitness class
💃 2 dance classes

On Saturday, November 7, we’ll have:
• 9:45am: Buti with Capri
• 11:00am: Int/Adv Heels with Dani
• 12:30pm: Int/Adv Jazz Funk & Hip Hop with Camille

Why we do it: DROP-IN gives new instructors the chance to teach in a large studio, rising teachers the room to grow their community, and seasoned dancers the freedom to try something brand new.

On this episode of No Dry Talk, we sit down with our Int/Adv Heels instructor, Jenny! 🎙️ We get into growing up with a conservative Filipino mom who drove her to her first heels class (and all her classes before that), her love and respect for dance and how it became her whole world, and why she runs a strict room. We also get into her magic - what it took to fill her classes week after week and why her students keep coming back for more. If you’ve ever taken Jenny’s class, you know she doesn’t play. Bundle up your little snowflakes because a winter wonderland is coming and Elsa herself is stopping by! ✨ Elsa will be with us from 2:30 to 4:30 PM for an afternoon of pure holiday magic. Your little ones will enjoy face painting, twirling through a ribbon wand dance lesson, a live magic show, and get photos with her during our meet and greet.

We’ll have our snow machine creating the PERFECT holiday photo op so come dressed to impress and get those Christmas card shots!

Also included:
🫧 Bubbles
⭐ Temporary tattoo station
🧸 Sensory games
🍪 Snacks and drinks

Tickets:
💙 $40 early bird covers one adult and one child (members get 15% off) through October 31 | $50 regular rate after October 31
💙 Siblings: $5 each (email [email protected] to add)
💙 Age range: 4-8 years old
💙 Babies 12 months and under are FREE with a paid sibling

Dress rehearsal is TODAY! Check-in starts promptly at 10am so give yourself extra time to park and roll in already wearing your first outfit 👗✨ We’ll be packed in tight at DRIP so showing up dressed and ready keeps things smooth for everyone.

Heads up: this heat wave is NO joke 🥵☀️ Bring a water bottle and your best attitude!

⚠️ IMPORTANT: Tech rehearsal on Sunday is MANDATORY. For everyone’s safety, those who don’t attend tech will not be permitted to perform on stage. No exceptions

Friends, I was scared to do this one. I was afraid to ask for people to join, for my instructors to teach, to invest money into this…and kept thinking what if no one has fun or we dance to mostly empty seats??

But you trusted me. You said yes to my vision and it means so much. And now all 477 seats at the Grand Ritz are FILLED. 😭 Thank you for believing in this showcase, in DRIP, and in each other.

To everyone who grabbed a ticket: thank you for showing up for our dancers. We cannot WAIT for you to see what they’ve built.

With only ~20 seats left, we predict we’ll be dancing to a sold out show in just one week from today - that’s 477 people! Weeks of rehearsals, training, new friendships, and DRIP energy are about to spill onto that stage and we need YOU in those seats screaming for our dancers. 🧡💚

The lineup is stacked 🔥 18 performances from our incredible instructors and students, 5 guest groups bringing the heat, one solo vocal from our Ngan, AND giveaways! 💃✨

Meet Josephine 🖤 our newest DRIP instructor and she’ll be teaching intermediate contemporary starting September 21st!

Josephine will be training you every Monday at 5:30pm and she’s heavy on the feels - get used to sad girl anthems, floor work, and a space where questions are welcomed and growth is the whole point.

She’s the founder of Kinetiq Dance Company , an adult contemporary performance team, and she’s danced basically every style there is but contemporary is her heart.

Her FIRST class is FREE. Come get a taste of her energy. Her second class on Sept 28 is $10.

Our showcase is coming up on October 4th and inside our Playbill, you’ll find the cutest baby photos of each student, paired with a little excerpt from them! 🥹

I keep thinking about little Glad and how thrilled she’d be to know she’s still dancing all these years later. I have a feeling it’s the same for so many of you too - little you would’ve loved nothing more than to dance and be friends with everyone in this studio. I feel so lucky we get to know each other now, as grownups who found our way to the dance floor together. Thank you, truly, for performing in DRIP’s first showcase.
