Breakthrough Workshop Theatre presents a staged reading of “The Terezín Promise,” a powerful short play about the Holocaust set in the final days of the Terezín concentration camp as liberation draws near. Written as a sequel to “I Never Saw Another Butterfly” (which BWT presented in 2015), the story follows Raja Englanderova and her fellow students as they fight to preserve the drawings and poems created by the children of Terezin. Presented at the Coronado Public Library for one performance only, BWT invites audiences into an afternoon of courage and remembrance, where art becomes survival and choosing hope inspires profound moments of breakthrough. 🦋🖼️💡
