Hi friends, Tessa here. I and I’m guilty of one thing (okay probably a couple things but let’s bring up this one) I start so many new pieces before I finish the last one 😂 This past year has been such a season of transition and motion, but now I finally feel still and grounded again. As I settle into my Pacific Grove studio, I’ve been revisiting old canvases, ready to bring them fully to life and finally share them with the world.

Work in progress out in the forest meadow. It’s one of my favorite spots on the land. The sun beams through the charred forest, life growing from all around. Theres endless depth from layers of ferns, firew**d and plants I’m still getting to know. I can sit there and watch the light change all day.

You may learn my ancient medicines

Leave your windows open
Let me vine into your space

Yes, okay, little critters may follow

Is that really such a sacrifice
If you get to see me bloom

Admire my lush foliage
And sacrifice the sterile
